The festivities will begin at 19:30 p.m. with musical entertainment on the Place de l'Hôtel de Ville. At 20:10 p.m., a procession will leave for the War Memorial, where a moving ceremony will begin at 20:30 p.m., with the Beethoven's 7th Symphony and a tribute to the athletes who died for France. Back on the square at 21:00 p.m., Mr. Philippe Marini, Mayor de Compiègne, will speak to celebrate the 100 years of the Olympic Games and award medals to deserving citizens. The evening will continue with the distribution of lanterns at 22:00 p.m., before heading to the Hippodrome for an incredible fireworks show at 23:00 p.m.

On the occasion of the National Day, the Pierrefonds-Palesne Festival Committee is organizing a craft market during the day on the Place de l'Hôtel de Ville as well as in the rest of the village center. It will start at 15:00 p.m., and you can enjoy it until late in the evening.
From 23:00 p.m., fireworks will be launched.
