Presentation
The grouping of municipalities was born on October 13, 1964 under the name of Syndicat Intercommunal à Vocations Multiples (SIVOM) bringing together the 20 municipalities of the Canton of Attichy, located to the east of the department of Oise (Picardy). It was transformed into District of the Canton of Attichy on September 1, 1994 to become Community of Communes of the Canton of Attichy (CCCA) on January 1, 2000.
Nearly 17 inhabitants live in this rural area of 000 km² crossed by the Aisne river and bordered by forest massifs de Compiègne and Laigue. By prefectural decree dated October 8, 2015, the Community of municipalities of the Canton of Attichy changed its name and is now called: Community of municipalities of the Lisières de l'Oise (CCLO).
