About us

At the heart of the picturesque forest village of Saint-Jean-aux-Bois and in the shade of its magnificent abbey, a botanical garden has been designed as a landscaped area accessible to the visually impaired (desks which have been installed have a Braille translation) or in a wheelchair.

Planted with many species of trees and ingenious devices allowing you to learn while having fun, this 1.4 ha arboretum is a unique place, where a simple stroll can take on a real playful dimension: scents of tannins, recognition forest species and animal tracks, xylophone to listen to the tones of the different wood species.
