About us
At the heart of the picturesque forest village of Saint-Jean-aux-Bois and in the shade of its magnificent abbey, a botanical garden has been designed as a landscaped area accessible to the visually impaired (desks which have been installed have a Braille translation) or in a wheelchair.
This 1.4 ha arboretum is a unique place, where a simple walk can take on a real playful dimension: scents of tannins, recognition of forest species and animal tracks, xylophone to listen to the tones of different species of wood... .Many species of trees and ingenious devices allowing you to learn while having fun!
