About us

Located along the D60 departmental road, near the A1 motorway, south-west of Rémy, this 11.450 m² necropolis was created on November 24, 1921. It received the bodies of the temporary cemeteries of Fayel, Mélicocq, Marest-sur-Matz, Chevincourt, Estrées-St-Denis, Cambronne, Ribécourt, Clairoix, Margny-les-Compiègne, Villers-sur-Coudun, Jaux, Baugy, Lachelle. This cemetery contains 1829 graves, including 52 of civilian refugees and 6 graves from the 1939-1945 war.
