About us
Anchored in the heart of the Imperial City, the Saint-Corneille Library, completely rehabilitated in 2007, on the remains of the Abbey of Saint-Corneille.
It offers a view of the city center thanks to its contemporary glass roof, rises on three spacious and bright levels.
Easily accessible by lift, these hold some 88 documents (books, comics, DVDs, periodicals) and offer free internet and wifi access.
In addition, a documentary room also serves as a quiet study room, highly coveted by students, readers or people passing through wishing to work in peace.
Other centerpieces classified as historic monuments in this building: a restored cloister dating from the 20th century, a real haven of relaxation inviting you to read and a cellar from the same period, a popular place for researchers, containing around 000 heritage documents as well as the 4 remarkable treasures of its Precious Reserve!
