About us
Le Golden Rooster is the Bar-Restaurant of the historic heart de Compiègne, with its atmosphere of Parisian brasserie and its large sunny terrace facing the Cloître St Corneille.
It is open from 7:30 in the morning for a coffee, a tea, a Viennese, a cappuccino, accompanied by a golden croissant or a generous toast.
From 12:00 p.m. for lunch, you will discover à la carte, the great classics of french brasserie, such as: sausage 5A, beef tartare, duck confit, salads, or simply, an excellent croque monsieur, with the added bonus of “homemade” fries!
Le Coq d'Or also offers you to end the day comfortably installed on its padded benches, or on the perfectly exposed terrace, to taste a wide choice of beers, cocktails, or wines by the glass.
